THERMOFIBER 4242 is a high friction coefficient material noted that is fully cured with phenolic resins, a NBR rubber bonding system, short brass fibers and friction modifiers.

THERMOFIBER 4242 is ideally suited for industrial calipers, static brakes, and heavily-loaded winches & cranes. TF4242 can be bonded & riveted, and is available in all popular thicknesses and in sheet sizes of 30″x30″, 25″x25″, and 20″x20″.
