Our Guardian Kevlar Transit is an Extra Heavy Duty 28,660-lb axle-rated material. GKT offers enhanced friction performance for maximum stopping power with low lining and drum wear rates across all temperature ranges. GKT’s unique blend of insulating fibers, bonding resins and advanced graphites transfers heat away from the lining/drum interface, minimizing brake fade and noise. GKT features Kevlar fiber, which increases heat capacity and reduces unit loading on the organic materials in the friction matrix. GKT thermally protects the entire brake system and extends wear life by 30% compared to OE premium linings. Produced in an ISO9001-listed facility.
